I'm back!! Just today!!

Wow it has been over a year since I last updated my blog! It even feels weird to type the word blog! And my first word is still Wow. LOL (hey it rhymes!). Well blame it on Twitter. It makes things simpler, easier, and faster.

Anyways, looking back, that was a year ago, much have changed since. I remember I was pretty occupied then with the tedious application process to get into a postgraduate program overseas. I wasn't even sure if I could get into the program but voila, luck was on my side! I'm 3/4 through my first year of studies!

I guess my perspective of life has changed tremendously after the exposure to the field of clinical psychology, not just theoretically but in practice as well. Just having listened to clients describing their life experience to you makes whatever that you worry about just so pathetic. I even notice I don't complain as much anymore about anything (except that I'd like to be longer in Msia for my holidays end of this year hahah).

Personally, just over a couple months in the course I've gained valuable insights on individual differences! Simply put, it just means everyone is different from one another. I knew that, but I didn't completely understand and experience it before. Not until I started my placement that I realise there is really (REALLY) no one right psych treatment for every individual with similar problems unlike giving a flu tablet to anyone with a cold. We ARE the result of our experience of our parents, friends, environment, and not to mention our genetic predispositions. Having said that, I become less pissed at people who angers me, less annoyed at annoying people, etc because I now know there's a reason why this person behaves this particular way.

Since no 2 oranges are the same, what's the point of comparing yourself unfavourably or even favourably with others? Regardless of it making you feel better/worse, does it really change anything in reality? Okay to be fair, we can't dismiss the role that our culture plays in our upbringing. We're being compared to other kids all the time!! LOL!! So of course, it's easier said than done not to make comparisons. But we DO have choice in how we want to look at a problem. It takes time to learn to look at things differently, but hey, I know I'm a happier person now (not that I wasn't before)! Hehheh.

My simple 'formula' that keeps me happy and thankful at the moment:

Your life is not a living hell + You are you, not anyone else + Don't make predictions & assumptions + rant occasionally
= Fair enough :) No complains hehe.

The lazy bug has taken over me. My routine everyday is something like this:

10-11am: Out of bed. Brunch. Newspaper.

12pm: Yawn. Online. Youtube. Facebook. Hotmail. Gmail. Twitter. Skype. Imdb. Bloghopping. Uni-hunt.

3pm: Go downstairs walk few rounds see what's happening at home go back to room.

4pm: Repeat 12pm routine.

6pm: Dinner. Fetch sis from school. DVDVDVDVDVDVDVDTVTVTVTVTVTVTV.

12am: Repeat 12pm routine.

1-2am: Sleep.

Yea there are occasional uni-visit and grocery shopping but that's about it. My brain is working very slowly. Table's a mess. UK pics still with Cassie. Yawn. Just waiting to go to work. Next week maybe?

It's CNY.

I got some rashes. No, like quite a lot!

I'm not sure whether it's subsiding or not. Doc's cream don't seem to work. Using some Chinese cream now.

Exam's in 3 days.

I can't rest well or rest early because exam's in 3 days.

I can't concentrate on my studies because the rashes are distracting.

UK's in a week. I won't be able to enjoy 100% in UK if my condition's not improving.

I.NEED.TO.GET.BETTER.

After almost 8-9 months pregnant with thesis, my baby finally arrived!!..In fashion.

Ok the truth is...it's a boring 'book' to read. You'll probably sleep after the introduction. Nah, more like after the 1st page itself.

Okay although I've handed it in doesn't mean I'm safe. I won't be at peace until the results are out. =( And that's like later in March.

Hopefully the department doesn't call me about it!! Bleh..and most likely I'll accept the job offer from SCB.

Okay I said I'll be away for a few weeks but then I have some time to kill in the library without any reading materials with me. =p.

So I just wanna say that...

My pork burger wish came true!!! Woots!! Many thanks to LEKBWL!!!

Look at my pork burger face!! Oh and they actually do have other choices of food but what's famous there are their pork burgers!! Total of 9 types!! P7 is DA BEST!

And pork goes best with iced chinese tea!

This is the Caesar Salad @ RM16.90. Its portion is large enough for 2-3 to share. But the breadcrumbs were missing. :s

And that's my P7~!!!! Toasted burger bun with cheese, bacon, pork patty, minced pork with petai, vege, tomato,onions, and pickles served with potato wedges!! IT'S VERY VERY GOOD!!

It's priced @ RM28.80! A bit pricey but damn worth it!! The first bite made my knees weak~

And after that we went to KTZ for dessert though we were already very very full! A very very sweet and sour Kiwi dessert and a very very slimy-mushy Mango dessert.

I'm very very hungry as I'm typing this. But I gotta wait till 7pm for dinner!! (It's 5.45 now).

Okay...I gotta go now...Just wanna say TQ very much to WLKBLE for treating me to this awesomesauce dinner!!! XIE XIE!!

Since everyone is making a wish list I shall make one too~! So far it seemed that at least one of the wishes will be fulfilled~! Let's see what's on my list!!

1.Wii. Ok I've been deprived of video games since my childhood. My first and last game console was in 1997 or sumting. You know that bulky console box where u have to stuff in the fat cartridge? Yea dat. =(

2. A GPS!!! It's not just to look for makan place ok wtf.

3. iPhone. OHKAY I know I just got a new SE phone (coz I can't afford myself an iPhone) but I realise how convenient iPhone can be. Yes yes I didn't like touchscreen phones before BUT BUT BUT. Oh what about texting in class?? I figure I don't have to do that anymore in 3 months since I'll be done with studies!..oh so what about texting when u're driving?? Nahhh texting while driving is dangerous anyway wtf. Oh then what about being able to use bar phone with just one hand?? There's a reason why you have two hands you know..Ok ok so here's the thing...if you get an iPhone, GPS comes together with it. So that's 2 things u can get for the price of one right?? Geddit geddit??...Yea fat hopes. Nvm let's move onnnn...

Two Sesat Food Trip in a Day~

Just few days ago I thought of going for a BKT session in Klang since my last BKT meal was ages ago I can't remember. And of all days I picked today coz my class starts at 1pm. So after a BKT brunch then I can head for class. That was my perfect plan to start the day!

So we roughly looked for directions in Google Map yesterday and clearly we overestimated ourselves. We ended up in a place like THIS. We took the most difficult route to Klang I dunno why don't ask.

THIS IS SO NOT KLANG.

After getting some directions from the petrol station, we managed to get back to the Klang area and we decided to eat in a Japanese restaurant nearby instead. We're running out of time you see. We took 1 hr plus to reach 'Klang' wtf. Damn LOST!

So this is where we ate. Kinsahi Japanese Restaurant in Klang. Damn nice interior right??

Their branches are mostly in JB. Only 2 in the Klang Valley.

This is my smokin hot fried chicken ramen. RM10.50. Price is not bad at all but the portion is pretty average. You have the choice to order 'BIG' for RM14.50.
And the ramen to me is not bad = sping-ey, fine, and not too chewy.

This is the some fish dish I don't remember. It's just average imo. If you do visit this place, try something else. This is about RM20.

Tadaaa...Mashed Potato!! Looks good right?! It's served cold, and the portion is okay for the price of RM7.00. It tastes good actually but I personally like it to be a bit more salty.

We didn't get to order much since it's just two of us here and remember, this wasn't where we suppose to have our brunch. So disappointed. But I don't care I'm going again next week for BKT! This time I'll get the place right~!! Garghhh!

Wokay, and after the brunch, I went for the 3-hour Advanced Topics in Psychology class where I realised I need to search for my mojo to go back to studies again.

Okay let's skip this part.

Straight to DINNERRR~!!! After class we headed to straight to Decanter in PJ to celebrate Suets 20th BDAY~!! I've heard of this place many times before but never actually patronize the place. Coz I duno how to go wtf.

Oh yea and why was it a sesat food trip? Because I got lost tailing YL's car. It was really jam at that hour and cars were cutting in and out. Only this time we reached the place as planned.

After 1 hour. Here's Decanter. Oh it shouldn't take that long without the jam.

This is the first floor where all the booze are.

Cool place to hang out with friends. Oh by the way it's in a housing area in Section 17. There are branches in Bangsar and Mont Kiara too if I'm not mistaken.

Okay I think Suet will blog about the details, so I'll just blog bout the food k wtf.

This is the Caesar Salad for RM9.00. Quite a big portion, enough for 2-3 persons to share. I don't know about the taste though. Didn't get to try coz some people were starving there LOL. But so far, Itallianies' was the BEST!

And this is the Spaghetti Carbonara @ RM15.00. OMG it's heavenly! For carbonara fans, this is a must-try~!! It's gravy is TASTY, thick, creamy, and just right not for you to puke afterwards. Hahaa sorry my food vocab is not that wide. =p I'll definitely order this the next time I visit Decanter and it'll be only FOR MEEEEE. Don't touch my Carbonara go away order your own wtf. Yea it's that good. =p. Meow.

My fish and chips!!! Contrary to what was reviewed, it wasn't actually up to expectations. The outer layer of the fillet was crispy BUT it's the crispy-hard kinda crisp. The layer of the fish fillet was also rather thin, hence the harder crispiness on the outside I guess? It's about RM15-RM16. You decide.

Oh this is the grilled chicken with ham and cheese dan lain-lain. Looks good eh? At RM18 I think it's a lil' overpriced but it's still okay. Was it good? Ask Taytay.

And this is the grilled chicken with garlic sauce. It's just alright to me and the portion is quite small. Not filling enough for a dude.

Oooooh...and the famous Assam Laksa in Decanter. It's quite spicy surprisingly for a person who takes spicy stuff like me (I think my mum will like it). It's priced at less than RM10 with a generous amount of sardine in it. I would prefer it to be more sour and spicier though.

Beef strogganof @ RM15.00. No comments. Didn't eat this. Hehheh.

Hahah...here we go...another dish! I did 'Stuffed Chicken' today! It's quite common actually but how many of you actually put your hands onto it. ;)

Okay first thing's first. As usual, marinate the chicken like how we did previously,but this time no liquor :p.

Remember to add extra salt and pepper (no pun intended) coz you will be putting the whole chicken in the oven. Rub those stuff on the chicken, IN the chicken thru the chicken's ass, and UNDER the chicken skin.

If possible, marinate the chicken for 2 days or so. REMEMBER to turn the chicken every now and then when you place it in the fridge so that both sides of the chicken will absorb the marination. Important. Otherwise only one side got taste. HAHA.

On the day when you wanna cook, cut up some potatoes into cubes and place them in the oven for 10 minutes, with temperature of 100-degree celcius. Dump in some parsley as well till it's dried up and crispy.=)

Cut some tomatoes as well and pound some garlic. Put some butter on the foil on the metal tray thingy from the oven.

Crush the parsley leaves and rub the garlic all over the tomatoes and potatoes and (in/on/under) the chicken.

And start doing your stuffing! Stuff as much potatoes as you can into the chicken. You can place some outside the chicken no prob!

A closer look!

Dump it in the oven for like 40 minutes at 250-degree celcius. If you have a not so canggih oven like mine, then you have to take it out and turn the chicken over and put it in again. After 40 minutes, lower the temperature and leave the chicken for another 10 minutes.

Yea man!! This month's company's social linkage was awesome! Partly was because I co-organized it!! =p Where else?? In AMSQUARE! HAHA.

It was supposed to be in Neway but then it's more expensive there~

But it's not too bad here either since the expenses were fully covered by the company!

We had some kiddy games that requires singing and celebrated some ppl's birthday in Oct ;)

But I left quite early though about 10 plus coz it's quite difficult to sing with 30 ppl and some did quite a lot of drinking and they're getting louder and louder.
haha.

But then it's good experience to just go there to mingle and observe how people behave after work. Now that's their true personality. Hehe.

RZ's Experimental Cooking Series (RECS) 101

Hahah...I think I'll start posting up the dishes that I'm experimenting on every once in awhile coz I've been trying my hands at new dishes my mom doesn't cook. =) Only that way I can take full control of the kitchen. HAHA.

Anyways, I'm just equipping myself with these cooking skills coupled with some tips from my mom for future use you see. Whether when I'm living alone or after I'm married =). Lol think too far d.

So back to the topic! Today I've cooked "Juicy Asparagus Wrapped in Crispy Hennesy Chicken" (Yes I named that myself) =p

Firstly, cut the chicken fillet/breasts into large thin pieces (Thickness depends on how you want to serve them).

Marinate the chicken with salt, oyster sauce, a lil ajinomoto, and any mojojojo up to your liking, and sugar/honey if you want some sweetness. And of course, a spoonful of Hennesy.

Cut the asparagus into a few pieces. Simmer them for awhile in an oiled pan.

Tadaaa!! Prepare to do some rolling! This is where sushi making skills come in handy. Heheh.

Lay out the chicken breast, add a few asparagus at the end of the chicken breast and start rolling it in TIGHT. Dip the rolled chicken carefully into the beaten eggs and then roll the rolled chicken on breadcrumbs =)

And it will look like this!!!

A closer look at it =)

Heat up the oil in the wok. But when you're putting in the chicken, put the fire at low. Deep fry the chicken till it's golden brown. And screw golden brown if your chicken is not cooked. Let it fry longer then. =p

And VOILA!!! This is what you get!! I swear the real thing look much better than depicted in the pic! And damn it's so damn good!!! The Hennesy really enhanced its taste!!

It can be served as a dish eaten with rice (Cut the chicken breast thinner) or it can be served as a Western cuisine with salad and etc etc (Cut the chicken breast thicker).

Yeap so friends overseas, you can try this at home too instead of eating out!

First of all, TQ VERY MUCH bimbo and LE for winning the tickets and inviting me to join you in this A-M-A-Z-I-N-G concert organized by Tiger Beer (hence, T-Music) and Galaxy Entertainment in line with the latter's 15th anniversary celebration! This is my first time attending a concert from 7pm-2am!!!

Surprisingly enough, the concert started at 7pm SHARP (that's rare) as advertised and the stadium was only half filled, people were still walking in looking for their seats. And at that moment I just found out from LE that there will be about 20 artistes around Asia performing. Lol...I didn't know that. :p

Two of MyFm's DJs were hosts that night with a special guest host from HK, Amigo Chui! I didn't know he was coming too!

Then there's this Manhand, a local canto band performing. I thought theirs were the most deafening one for that night. So damn loud~

And Soler performed!! Not really a fan or theirs~

Aha, Ocean...our pou gong ying dude! He looks different from the MV though. And I think he was one of the happiest singers of the night coz EVERYONE sang to his "Your Memory's Not Mine" (the host was saying that M'sians were singing the song till the street....literally translated) and he's just a newbie. He was surprised that people remember the ONLY cantonese song from his album most.

This is Kenny Kwan from HK, one of the few who received the least cheer. Not as popular here maybe?

And then TADAAA~~~POWER STATION!!! WHOA EVERYONE GOT HIGH ON THE SPOT!! They sang four songs and the 1st song was a medley of their previous hits which took up more than 10 minutes!!

Among the new songs they sang were 你是我的眼 and 愛到瘋癲! They sang really good live!! Veterans~hahah~

This is Liu Liyang from China and I loveeee her voice!! Very soothing and she did great live too but her outfit was a bit...it's like she's wearing a giant napkin wtf. Can't see from this pic though.

Oh and I spotted Royce at the VVIP rock zone reporting on the event. I think he was saying how awesome it was etc etc.

Just 2 minutes after that, Chin from Thailand performed and barely 1 minute into the song EXACTLY in this pose, the mic was not working, and the huge screen behind lagged, and poof~

Total darkness. And I thought there was a blackout or something. Then we saw something orangy flickering at our left corner.

This was what happened!!

From what I've eavesdropped from the organizers, apparently there's an overload of power usage that the wires got burnt or something and we suspected the free flow or Tiger Beer in the tent at the VVIP rock zone did contribute to the fire.

Anyways we just sat there dumbfounded, lost. Should we stay?? Should we leave?? It was freaking 10.30pm and the MAIN MAIN ARTISTES HAVE NOT EVEN APPEAR!!!! So LE and I decided to get some food or the plastic balloon thingy outside and then suddenly everyone cheered wtf so we went back to our seats again. =__="

Tadaaaa.....Justin came out to calm the audience!!! He was speaking in the hailer and it wasn't too clear from our place but we could roughly figure out what he was singing. And then he sang the chorus for 男人KTV on the hailer and everyone sang along!!! Oh man he even sound good on hailer! LOL~

Then Z-Chen came out to chat sang one line of "May I Love You" (notice the lights are coming back).

Then there was Kay Tse!

And Lee Sheng Jie!!!

And the cute cute Eric Lim...Aiyo like school boy laaa~~

EVEN DAVID TAO MADE AN APPEARANCE!!! He just sang one line and the mics and lights were back wtf. (After him, Joey supposed to come out wtf but the lights were back so she didn't)

Oh and Lee Sheng Jie was next!! He was the only one who got flowers!! Hahaha~~All of us sang to his popular emo love songs and good thing there were lyrics on the screen!

Hahaha...he's damn funny la...when he just came out earlier he was asking why everybody was so DIAM?? Then in this pic below he was complaining he felt really warm and wanted to remove his jacket but he said his colleague complained he's too fat but he couldn't stand the heat anymore!! HAHAHA!! His final song was 男人KTV, everyone sang along!!

After that it was David Tao!!! Nah...not really a fan of his. Never liked him singing live.

But he does have some nice songs =) He belted Ai Hen Jian Dan as his final song.

AND FINALLY AFTER MUCH WAITING!!!! JOEY YUNG!!!!!!WOOOOOHHHH!!!! Sang a fast number for the opening~

Omg she's hillarious man! After the first song she said "You all know how afraid I was back there??? It's 1 something in the morning I'm afraid everyone left and I'll be singing to an empty stadium!!" (Aiyo she said it very cutely!)

She said this is the first time she's required to sing at 1am in the morning! And then she noticed someone at the rock zone trying to take her pics and she said "Eh are you searching for a right angle to take my pic? Tell me ma can d lohhh!!!" Then she posed. HAHAH omg. Oh remember we're not supposed to bring cameras. Lol.

AND AND....SHE SANG MY FAVOURITE SONG AT MY CORNER HERE!!

Oh and now she felt warm then she removed her jacket..hahaha..then when people were whistling she said "Aiya, what so nice to see" =) =)

Overall this is one 7-hour concert VERY VERY WORTH going and that'll save you many other concerts if you wanna meet your idols coz THERE'RE ALL HERE!!! And what more we went FOC!!! Thanks again Bimbo and LE!!!

I mentioned before I like to make slides right...let's rephrase that...

I love making slides BUT NOT WHEN YOU HAVE TO CHANGE AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN AND WHEN QUESTIONED ABOUT THE WATEVA BEING INAPPROPRIATE, THE PERSON WHO SUGGESTED THEM EARLIER PRETEND LIKE IT WASNT HER REQUEST.

Yes and it's nice to have NONE of your 'team members' turn up for the second review meeting and leave me with MOI BOSS & MOI BOSS' BOSS! But I don't think they intentionally don't come together. Ish.

Anyways, I'd rather do presentations for kids or teens coz their lives are more colourful and lively and filled with association with things surrounding them. Adults don't see colours anymore.

The irony is, when you do a presentation, you minimize the words on your slides. Plus adults are OLD and they have some vision problem so yadda yadda. Guess what? Apparently they prefer to see more words, and I've observed some of their slides and they're packed with really small words. And I thought someone should mention about the tiny words (have to squint ur eyes to read if u're at the back) but when I make the slides they're telling me to fit all (those points and stuff) into ONE slide. If you wanna present it's gonna be like reading from the slides d. So do every fresh grad enters a company trying to make a change, a small change, just shaddap and conform because everyone else is doing it and they are paying your bills? End up we're gonna be like them.

Ok this is just the slides part. Nvm the rest. I lost my point anyway.

On a random note, I really dislike ppl who don't let you finish talking/explaining while you're at it and then they ask you about it later. Wtf man~

And stupid taxi drivers can just cut into your lane no matter how impossible it is. GARHHHHH!!!

Oh ok back to the food. This is my first time in Bubba Gump & yes it's very expensive (KH u're broke coz u went to bubba) but it's all paid for! All 15 of us from our dept were there to buka puasa with our Muslim colleagues and I realized the doa is only for a split second. The rest of us were like "ah dah habis?"..hahah..then we started gobbling down the cholestrol served.

I still have problems mastering this piece, J.S.Bach - Prelude and Fugue no.2 in C minor...one of my exam pieces.

I'm totally fine with the prelude which is from 0:00-1:23 minutes...but guess what? The second half (fugue)of the piece is SO MUCH TOUGHER than the first half though it doesn't looks like it =(

My fingers are less flexible now compared to before..I should say more like 'harden' d...lol...that happens when you don't practice often enough.

Exam's next year!! I've postponed it so many times coz I have little time to practice! How?? This kid up there is a talented one. Wait till u hear me play the 2nd half...goes down the drain...hahaha..

Day 2 (Continued)

Dinner at Bayang, a Balinese restaurant. Everyone was absolutely tired and thirsty by then after that self discovery tour. We had rice again.

This is the appetizer for 4 person! That's a lot! I thought it was the main dish already and it's feeling enough.

Then there's this soup for each of us. It has glass noodle, chicken shreds, carrots, quail eggs etc in it. Tastes not bad!

Ahh boneless chicken curry. Yummyy!!!

Then 12 of us decided to try the Singapore Flyer coz it's buy 2 free 1 for tourists, $20 per person!

We walked all the way from City Hall to the Singapore Flyer. Omg another 45 minutes of very fast paced walking, almost running =p

We were rushing for the last ride for the day at 10pm and we reached at about 9.50pm to buy tickets so we're all damn sweaty by then so mind the sticky faces in the pics.

Ahem so this is the tube/capsul we're supposed to be in. It can fit a maximum of 25 people!

LOTS of camwhoring going on in there, trust me. There were 3 other tourists in there with us with their gigantic DSLR looking at us like weirdos. Too bad la they chose the wrong time to take the ride. Hahah.

There!! This is the 12-person camwhore I was mentioning. Even the 3 other tourists with us were also impressed, looking at their facial expression. Hehehehe. The dude got super long arms!

After that we took a cab back to our resort and we headed down to the beach! It was way past midnight by then. Brought some potato chips and crackers down with us.

Hahah...buried his leg and did some notty stuff =p

Trying to plant the long legs but failed. Oh and after that we sat around the beach and start telling ghost stories. Those who were afraid fled to the hut to play Chor Dai Di. Guess what? Half way telling the stories, a group of Chinese people in white mourning clothing were lining up horizontally facing the sea and started throwing ashes into the sea. We were like omg! Telling wrong thing at the wrong place at the wrong time. It's past midnight you know! Somemore the sea breeze was so strong and chilling. *Shivers*

But then of course after all the scary stories, we need to have a closure rite. Then all the lame cold jokes started. Lol!

Nah this is the group that dare not listen~hahaha

So after that we slept at 3 something and up again at about 6am to see the sunrise!

But tak jadi coz it was about to rain. Can't see the sun at all. =(

We had our breakfast at 0900 and left for KL at about 1100~

So actually this trip was very informative about Singapore and as you can see the places they brought us to visit weren't the usual tourist spot, mostly on educating you about Singapore's future plans and prospects of working and living here. If you have the opportunity, you can apply when there is the next trip coz it's fun, not mentioning the amazing friends you'll make and they're mostly from Universities nearby so it's not impossible to meet up frequently!

The only downside is that the companies we visited and recruitment agencies weren't so relevant to what I was looking for so hopefully they would have another trip to cater the psych students =)

Sharing session by fellow Malaysians working in Singapore.
Camera crew has been following us since then! Suddenly very camera conscious wtf

After that on our way to Marina Barrage, the camera crew randomly pick people to interview ;)

Oh and we passed by these 3 buildings on construction, to be completed by this coming CNY. It will be a resort hotel with the casino in front and on the roof top of the hotel there will be a sky garden connecting all 3 buildings. Cool rite?!

The Marina Barrage tour. This is the place where they conserve water and they have a dam-like thingy, converting sea water to fresh water and they have another year left to fully convert the Singapore River into fresh water!

It's also sort of an educational centre, very interactive. I don't remember exactly why I was there. HAHA. Busy snapping away lol.

I was attracted mostly to the interior more than the information on the LCD and walls. Hahaha..

LUNCH TIME!! Free & easy at Chinatown where we had our lunch. Coincidently there are some event going on there and there's this mask-changing uncle performing...and it's upclose...so we can actually see how it works...hehehe

The food court where we had our lunch. Food is actually quite cheap when compared dollar to dollar.

Tadaaa...Nasi Lemak with fried egg and fried chicken wing only for $2!! Is this cheap or what??!! Looks good right? Man it tastes terrible. HAHAH. Only the egg was good. The rice was like only 90% cooked coz can feel some hardness, fried chicken was tasteless, the flour was hard to chew. Banyak hal. I'll pay the Malaysian price for better quality anytime!

All of us had Nasi Lemak and Herbal Tea =.="

So after lunch everyone was in their own group and the 4 of us decided to visit this famous 5 storey Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, something like that.

It's VERY beautiful inside, worth a visit next time you go to Singapore and it's air-conditioned for 4 floors unlike most temples you have lifts here.

The wall inside. I stopped taking pics after that coz I don't think it's nice to take pics inside a place of worship. =) But really, it's a MUST come! There's one floor where the floor and wall are all GOLD! So shimy shimy!

Hohoh..I used to have tortoises and I play Sunway Lagoon Theme Park with them in the bathroom, sliding them from one pail to another LOL.

Next on the itenerary was a visit to the Land Transport Authority! This is the entrance to the gallery.

We were waiting for our turn after the group before us comes out.

This is the 1st stop in the gallery, it's VERY COOL!! You see that transparent glass in front of us there? It's a replica of the subway system in Singapore and we didn't notice it. After watching that video up there the whole room went dark and there's this projection of a train flashed across the glass like a real train and it stopped and the glass slide open for us to enter the next segment of the gallery. We were like WHOAAA...so jakun like never seen before..hahaha

This was the next hall we entered and there were displays on how traffic system and transportation improved. You see the mannequin below? That's the 'traffic light' last time. Hahah kesian.

Okay so this is another section where we get to sit on F1 seats, they played a video and we get to vote on how to improve transportation systems in Singapore by pressing the button by the seat. Yea it's an interactive thing not the motion master in Genting.

Yea there are few more sections I did not take any pictures but basically, Singapore's future plans in a few years time is to include GPS in EVERY automobile with a cyber girl feature that helps you navigate your way, weather reports, traffic congestions, alternative routes, multiple video-calling. GOOD RITE???!!! Omg but I can't imagine how expensive cars would be at that time.

Self-Discovery Tour
Right after the Land Transport Authority tour, we were divided into 5 teams of 5 where we were given clues/riddles on places where we supposed to snap the pictures and the last stop will be our dinner place (Exactly like our Psych social gathering but this is outdoor!!!)

The first place was City Hall opposite this field but I took the scenery behind instead, my team mates took the right building la.

Next stop was the Raffles statue, one is in white and the other is in black and apparently according to the passerby the black was white and they painted it black wtf

Next in the clue was the Fullerton Hotel which was the once the General Post Office long time ago.

Another clue was the Merlion but I didn't take any pictures, I took this instead. Cantik!! I love my camera!!!

The last stop was in CLARKE QUAY!! Beautiful place!

I like the design of their shelter! Very umbrella-ish~

Oh and on our way we saw a few kids with their pet dogs omg so freaking cute!!! The little white boy was crying coz his doggie was pulling him instead LOL.

The team I was in was the first to arrive YAY!! The camera crew were trailing us everywhere really like the Amazing Race and we were supposed to express how we feel bout this whole Contact Singapore thing.

Anxiously waiting for our turn. Dunno what to say. So shy. =p

Hahah..very paiseh..I was like asking "Is it rolling?" when it was my turn and the lady was nodding her head. HAHAH. So typical noob la me. At least she gave me thumbs up after I commented. ;)

So that's all for this entry. I shall get somemore pics from others on the GOOD FOOD (coz it's expensive) and our own trip to the Singapore Flyer after dinner! The tallest in the world supposingly, can see Indonesia and Malaysia! Woots! And also a record-breaking 12 person camwhore in the Ferris Wheel by a dude (not me)!!

After that we have our own beachy session where we shared ghost stories, lame jokes and play cards till about 3am! So wait for the next update with pics!

Hello people!! In these two upcoming posts, I'll be taking you guys in a pictorial journey with me to Singapore and visit places that most of us have never heard of and the not too commercialize places =p

Yea so, what was I doing in Singapore?? Okay it wasn't really a planned trip but there was this recruiting company most of you have heard about, Contact Singapore or Experience@Singapore that set a booth during Sunway's Career Fair and I got an email from them asking me to apply but the trip was during my exams but I applied anyway no harm trying and got it for a different date and you just have to pay RM300 for 3 days 3 nights with breakfast every morning, 1 lunch, and 1 dinner provided!! Woots!!

In total there were about 22 of us from Taylors, Monash, Inti Nilai, HELP, and me alone from Sunway =.=" with majority doing finance and accounting, engineering, IT and psychology. So we boarded the coach from KL-Singapore at 7pm on Thursday and reached our accomodation, The Goldkist Resort at about 1.15am.

Took the ever vibrant coach to Contact Singapore office for a welcoming address and some briefing on the career prospects in Singapore. Unfortunately I didn't manage to take any pictures in the office.

Visited the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) and Singapore City Gallery Tour

This is where they explain to you the development of Singapore, their future plans, and how they maximize the use of their minimal land and space they have because this is a city-cum-country, thus the need for defence, infrastructure, recreation, housing etc etc.

This is where we watched a presentation on the issues I've mentioned above and the very little land they have which resort to them reclaiming lands by combining the many islands around them into a big island.

Since we're all the way in Geylang, besides food, their red district area is the most well known eh? Walked all the way along the street to look at some hookers, they're all pretty pretty and hot. Hahaha. But the area is so dark like some Harry Potter street with some dudes and uncles hanging around the area.

So it's almost 12am and we don't really know how to get back coz our resort is quite far away from the city centre even the bus drivers are blur. So ulu.

We managed to board the bus to the NEAREST stop apparently and we walked from there after asking for directions.

So we walked walked walked x 10 for about 45 minutes only we finally reached the resort. People are still doing some night cycling, barbequing, futsal-ing, and camping in the middle of the night.

So that's it for Day 1, all the formal stuff. Day 2 would be much less formal =)

Yeap, went for a 2nd interview today with SunCity Bhd and I got the job already basically and the manager was already like informing me what she hoped I could do and it's really quite fun actually coz when she was telling me what's her plan and all, I can already see how I can apply what I've learnt in this setting to help her accomplish her plans!! *Beh Mod, Edu Psy, Personality, Leadership flashed*

YES BEH MOD & LEADERSHIP can be applied! Weird huh?! Of everything I suddenly thought of a point from leadership. (oh to the non-psychos, we sort of have some prob with the leadership course earlier). The other lady asked me am I excited to start the job? She said you'll have to be very enthusiastic in this dept. (See! Just like Beh Mod!)

Ok so the manager a.k.a. supervisor also sounds cool coz she's Indian ~~bahahaha~~ and she's really nice, open, helpful, and friendly!! (Suet you can use this point!) She was quite happy that I'm interested in human capital development and then the other interviewer was saying that I chose to pursue Clinical Psychology in the application form and that's nothing gotta do with corporate. I was stuck there for like few seconds, then luckily I said I wanna keep my options open. And that's the truth actually but I got a bit nervous that time coz the manager looked disappointed for awhile lol. But then who knows, I might be moving towards an unexpected direction maybe after my internship. =)

Internship will be in August =) So at the mean time...data collection =(

Yea la just dream big it won't be rejected. At least while I was dreaming it wasn't.

Ms.W was flipping the envelopes this morning for my thesis proposal and I was hoping for the thinnest envelope (which means my proposal will not be returned to me a.k.a. approved).

Then she took out the THICKEST envelope wtf and at the front it was written Rejected, yes in RED. FML.

So I gasp la what can you do right? Then I turned it behind it's written resubmit la...PHewwww...ok la not so bad...and there's a whole list of things to amend and modify my knees went weak.

Feeling crushed at that moment I opened the envelope la and checked it thoroughly...actually there's nothing too serious la I think...

What made me mad is that there were so many things which the lecturers can advice us on but they chose not to guide us or anything so that we get rejected. Ok la maybe that's only on my part =_=. But seriously la my supervisor can actually tell me all the things I have to change, don't even need the ethics committee.

Ok enough of ranting...back to make some amendments. T_T

OH YES FINALLY GOT TO MEET 王力宏 after missing the last concert in 2007!! And the RM88 seats are NOT BAD AT ALL!!! considered quite near compared to Stadium Merdeka (oh this is in Bkt Jalil btw).

We reached at about 6pm and we parked somewhere at the stadium and we we're like "Eh why so little ppl wan??"...only to realise later we parked near the VVIP and RM394038218 entrance =_="

So we walked all the way to the other end and VOILA....we see ppl and music and Celcom booths and foodcourts!! Yeah so gates opened at about 7pm and living up to our names as typical Malaysians, we sneaked in McD and cameras!

As you can see that's the stage and ppl started to come in and fill up the stadium..the seats were pretty steep though allowing us a good view even if u lift ur hands up in the air~ =)

And us being us with cameras in our hands, camwhoring sessions begin =p

But the star today is not us!!

AND AT 8.30 THE CONCERT BEGINS!!! *FIREWORKS*

WOOHOOOO DAMN HIGH LOOK AT HIS GUITAR!!!!

LOOK AT THE GUITAR AGAIN!!!OMG I WANT!!! (oh it's a dragon treble cleft shaped guitar tailormade for him called the Bahamut, made in Ireland)

Before I forget to mention, the video graphics for his concert this time was A-W-E-S-O-M-E!! With 3 big screens that come with lyrics everytime he sings and 4 mobile vertical screens on stage!!!

He also did a magic trick where he went into a box on the stage and disappear and then reappear in the middle of the stadium WOW we didnt expect that! So he walked all the way back to the stage singing "Gai Shi Ying Xiong"....but then he wasnt singing when he was making his way back coz all the fans surrounded him again...

So those sit up there wan no money (like us) can watch and say yerrrrrr only.

And of course he played the piano, piano, drum, guitar, guitar, guitar, and violin~

I didn't know Forever Love sounded as beautiful until he sang it live~wahh I like~~~

I LOVE the whole show but the most memorable to me that makes me feel like crying (wah lebih) is "Luo Ye Gui Gen"!! He started off with a violin classic and then continued by the song....wah so niceeeeeee.....and the video pics on the 5 mobile screens while he was singing and violin-ing is from the movie "Lust, Caution". He played so perfectly I feel like strangling him "WHY YOU PLAY SO NICE WAN!!!!"

The concert ended at 11pm after encore and all that. SO FASTTTTT TIME PASSSSESSS!!!

Yea so ppl next time just go k! One of the highlights of his concert is him playing so many types of musical instruments!! I love those!..I think the next concert would be in 2011...SO LET'S GO AGAIN PPL!!!

Wushu-The Young Generation

Wanted to watch this movie so badly when it came out last year and it's got Sammo Hung and Jackie Chan the producer until The Star paper gave it such low ratings in their review.

So I wasn't so hyper about it anymore until I actually watched it on dvd last night!!!

To cut the long story short I've cut n paste the review from IMDB which reflects my thoughts as well coz I don't wanna waste over an hour writing the review you see ~~yea but can watch dvd la issit?~~

Yea so to summarize the summary, here goes:

One way of looking at this movie is as a semi-documentary (What a turn off right, but NO). The story is about 5 friends growing up in a martial arts school (like Wushu-version of Bkt Jalil Sports School) and joining Olympic-like martial arts competition (Individual wan).

And there is a subplot involving a child-kidnapping gang in China (yea the bad guy is some expelled student of the same wushu school and yes he was the best student during his days there). Coz you know to satisfy hard-core kungfu movie fans they need to have some free combat right coz the martial arts competition is all solo.

Acting is mediocre coz they are all acting newbies but champions of their own field!!

OMG I HAVE SO UNDERESTIMATED THE MOVIE!! THE MARTIAL ARTS COMPETITION SCENES & FIGHT SEQUENCE ARE ALL SO FRIGGIN AWESOME LIKE WATCHING A LIVE SHOW!! THEY CAN FLY IN THE AIR FOR GOD'S SAKE!!~~ok la exaggerated a lil bit, but they can jump REALLY high~~ They move SO FAST you'll miss a move if you blink your eyes!!

oh and these ppl are gonna be the next Jet Li, Jackie Chan, Wu Jing, etc in kungfu I guess since Jackie is introducing them to the entertainment industry~

Ahem and there are a fingerful good looking actors in there but let me tell you, the girls are zomg-so-not-pretty....maybe no pretty girls join wushu eh...I think they found the prettiest d wtf...oh and for the record, their aunty in the movie is prettier than the younger actresses =)

Oh so do watch the trailer if you're interested in wushu..it tells a lot what the movie is about...and the 2nd half of the trailer is a must watch!!

I have a thesis proposal and 2 more term papers due in 2 weeks AND WHY DO I ALWAYS HAVE TO GO SOMEWHERE ON WEEKENDS!! (yea, it's by choice =_=")

Last week was Archuleta and today is Raymond Lam!! I nv really thought about going to see him (not really a fan) but then...how many times you get to see a celeb upclose and for freeeeeee and right near where u live?!!!

In 'The Academy' they were in the police school, 'On the First Beat' they were in PTU, and now the for the 3rd installment which is the best so far they are in E.U (Emergency Unit).

Although the two lead characters, Kiu (Sammul Chan) and Man (Ron Ng), are not new, they bring a new dimension to their roles as the former cadet cops are now bona fide cops in action. Ron Ng, especially, brought new life to his character Man, a pleasant surprise for me (his acting improved a lot), very different compared to the last 2 installments (Yo ppl, he can actually cry now wtf, he used to squeeze his tears out but no tears last time, this time even got mucus flowing out wtf)

As for why you should catch the show - the story's really pretty strong (very much gangster-ish, Ron Ng's an undercover this time), there are many exciting moments throughout (especially the last 10 episodes) and twists and turns in the plot, there are also a ton of veteran actors in this (Michael Miu and Kathy Chow).

And Michael Tse is excellent in his role as Laughing Kor (yea weird name i know). He's made the role so popular that Laughing Kor is now all over the Internet, even earning Laughing Kor a fan group on Facebook and also a new movie is on the making based on his journey in this series.

So it's a must watch when it comes on TV early next year maybe. =)

David ~~ahchoolater~~ Archuleta came to Malaysiaaaa!!!!!! FOR THE FIRST TIME, an American Idol contestant actually dropped by in Asia after like what? 7 seasons?

Yea so gotta take this opportunity to go meet him rite?? And thanks to SuLi for going to her camp only I managed to go for David's showcase! And thx SA for the tics!

The show suppose to start at 3.00pm but we were already there by 10.45am!! AND STILL THERE ARE PPL EARLIER THAN US LINING UP ALREADY!! (Let the pics to the talking eh?)

And when everything ended, we took about 20 mins just to get out of the arena....and then we gotta walk all the way back to the main gate....yea climb up the hill slope and all dem healthy i tell u =_=".....but then overall it was fun la~~if Archuleta is staging a concert in Malaysia I'll definitely go!!! But I dont think he'll come so soon....hmmmm.....

HWALALA~

This movie is made for fast cars lovers or anyone who loves anything that moves really fast wtf (no you dont have to have knowledge on the car models or anything).

I'll just make a short and simplified review.

Pros: 1) NICE COOL cars being smashed.

2) EXCITING action sequence! (yes each of them involve cars)

3)Uber cool GPS!! (u'll know it when u watch it)

4) EXCITING action sequence!

5) The opening of the movie coincides with Shopaholic so ur girlfriends can watch Shopaholic and the boyfriends can watch this =)

6)It's much more fun-ner to have the original casts!

Cons: 1) omg why got DongBangShinKi's song inside? I tot it was weird

2) If u're here to watch Michelle Rodriguez...skip this..

3) oh it's so sad when they only use ONE out of the 3 cars that Paul Walker's character chose.

4) So-so storyline =_=" (just watch for the cars la yea ;))

p/s: My favourite is gotta be the car chase scene in the tunnel *thumbs up*...a bit dizzifying for Ah Po but shud be ok la...

Had a trip to Singapore with my dad for a few days to have a look at the uni there for my sis and me.

Lol but that took only a few hours actually hahah. So the first day was for uni hunting and the 2nd day was for friends haha.

Suppose to meet up with 2 fellas in NTU which is really far from the city centre and I took the right bus after the MRT to NTU but it was the opposite direction so gotta switch bus at the bus terminal and that took up some time and sweat coz it's DAMN HOT not warm and thanks to Mr. Bus Driver for informing me when to get off the bus.

So I met up with a Chinese friend of mine first in NTU whom I've known from HPAIR and grabbed some coffee and did some serious catching up ;)

Then only later Mr. Busyman YS have time for me and we went back to his really really impressive hostel/hall especially the exterior design, waited for him to shower then we headed to Suntec to collect his stuff and also for dinner.

So here's the highlight!! We had dinner in N.Y.D.C. which was really good!!

I had a Dory fish dish, cooked in garlic sauce and herbs with 2 sides of salad and mashed potato. Yep those are slices of grilled dory curled into the shape of a ball. VERY YUMMY!! (quite filling actually but I dunno it's the food or because talk too much :p)

YS had pork ribs which also tasted really good but the herb taste was a tad too strong for me though, maybe it's because of the fish I had didn't go too well with it.

Oooh juicy fries~

The bill came up to about $50 and to our surprise we can have any dessert of our choice for freeeeee!!! So I chose the Grandma-freaking-ass-long-name dessert which is a thick vanilla flavoured ice-cream with melted chocolate and whipped cream on top with macademia nuts in the middle splitting the the top from bottom and oreo as the base. (gasping for air)

Me: Can we have this? *points to the menu*
Waitress: Yea sure, one grandma?
Me: Err...yea one grandma =_="

(yea salivate already come on)

By the time we finish our dinner almost all the shops around are already closing but we managed to get into a shop and YS suppose to buy some sports shorts but I was the one ended up purchasing a Reebok sports tee =_=" (40% discount k)

Then we wanted to grab a drink after that but got chased away by the waiter coz they were closing (ok la not exactly chasing more like not letting us in). So we got to another branch of the same coffee house nearby and they welcome us happily! (See this is how you do business ppl!)

There aren't any really good movies in cinemas this few weeks and the good ones are heavily censored like "The Reader" (so I dl-ed instead). So for the sake of watching a movie because it's 'holiday', I ended up watching the Race to Witch Mountain.

Typical disney flick for children but might be enjoyable for SOME adults, unfortunately it's not my cup of tea (yea I knew that like much earlier but I still watch it coz it's holidays wtf better than watching dragonball wtf)

Due to my laziness and it's dinner time anyway, to sum it all up, The Amazing Race Asia 1,2,3 is more entertaining and exciting to watch. =_="

Karaoke anyone???....I'm only free next tuesday & weds....how sad...

We have lecturers/staff flown in from Lancaster Uni every now and then and so happen they came few days ago to mark our exam papers and also attended our annual dinner.

One of them, Dr. Coral Dando was invited to be a guest speaker in the Tan Sri Dato Seri Dr. Jeffrey Cheah Distinguish Speaker Series today and she shared her experiences and expertise in one of the fields of Forensic Psychology.

It was almost full house today, the crowd consists of students, upper admin, the media, LOTS of police officers more than one could have in a crime scene.

Oh before I forget, Dr. Dando gave a talk on "Interviewing Witnesses and Victims of Crime". She was formerly a police officer and now a psychologist and an investigative interviewing specialist where she trains police officers besides lecturing in Lancaster.

The talk was really interesting as it involves the application of psychology in a forensic setting. But for today she just gave us an hour talk on interviewing techniques.

Apparently the interrogation techniques a.k.a Good Cop Bad Cop technique you've seen in movies are banned in the UK and it's only used in the US (u know the one u see them bashing the suspects and they make their confessions bla bla).

What is used in the UK is the Cognitive Interviewing (CI), which involves a lot of open ended questions instead of suggestive questions. And what makes interviewing techniques so important is because the way the interviewer asks questions can affect the answers of the eyewitnesses, and the implementation of this CI is VERY important in the UK because the UK Criminal Justice System relies predominantly on these information from eyewitness.

One of the highlights is that we have to know what situation was the victim in before we can determine whether the information provided is reliable. For example if you're pointed with a gun when you're robbed, you would focus all your attention ON THE GUN instead of the robber. Therefore, we couldnt be too sure whether who or what features they saw are true.

Suppose to put this..

Err so....the most interesting part was during the Q&A session. There was a question from a Datuk, a retired senior police officer *pause* for 36 years (That's how he introduced himself). So he asked what can we do when a police officer get psychologically involved with the witness for example like rape victims.

Dr. Dando briefed him/us on how the system in UK is where these police officers undergo psychological assessment every 3 months especially those from the crime unit (I think) so when they find them to be disturbed or unsuitable will be pulled off the case or being replaced. Also in the UK they have a group of specialists who specialize in interviewing victims/suspects of child abuse, sexual abuse, murder etc etc.

So the Datuk replied that in Malaysia the rape cases are usually handled by female police officers and the number of female police officers are limited so they still gotta be on the case even when they are emotionally involved. (So too bad la Malaysia, not that developed yet). Dr. Dando mentioned quite a lot on why the police hire psychologists (woots woots I can see job prospects!)

Then after that there's another european student who asked whether could they actually know what is the one cause that cause serial killers to be serial killers. Well there isnt one cause unfortunately otherwise we could have predicted who the killer would be. And to know whether a suspect/victim is telling a lie, you've got to base it on the facts you have plus the experience you gain after years of interviewing. So there is no exact way to tell really.

Another funny thing was that after a few questions from the audience, Dr. Dando was like "Are there any questions from the police officers?" HAHAHA...coz so many blue coloured uniform ppl there and none of them asked anything. But then finally one of them asked la.

I need to applaud that policeman for his effort in conveying his questions la since even Dr. Dando can understand. He was like pausing in between every word to search for the next word. So what he asked was:

1) When is the best time to interview the victims?

2) Which is the best setting during the interview?

3) I forgot the question which is the more important one wtf

Answers:1) The first 30 mins after the incident. But she said practically it's difficult, then again if you take statements after 30 mins or so their memory goes plateau for a period of time wtf. So me, Diyanah and Joyce was like "If kena rape then must quickly report so you remember more details","Oh i wanna make a report (in a hiaw way still struggling to put on clothes)" (Ok la it doesnt sound funny now wtf but we were giggling all the way it WAS funny k :p)

Answer: 2) In a secluded room without anything except tables and chairs dat's all plus a "Interviewing in Progress" kinda sign outside (Even I knew that but I dunno why he asked...maybe Malaysia's interviewing room is not dat nice)

And then so wtf listen half way kena telephoned to rush for a meeting for that stupid Project Warga that I regretted joining wtf so I didnt manage to listen to the whole Q&A session but I guess it was ending anyway.

Yea so this was what the talk was basically about, and most of the contents were already mentioned yesterday in the Lab for those who attended a session with her. So if you guys wanna pursue Forensic Psych you have lots more to learn like criminal profilling and creating intervention programmes for prisoners/victims etc etc.

My psychmates and I were supposed to have a discussion with Prof Omerod and Dr. Coral Dando at 2pm today but due to a typo in an email sent to us we came at 10am instead and were told that the discussion is at 2pm.

Yea I know it's already 10am but I can see the sleepy and groggy eyes in all of us (due to too much gaming till the a.m the nite b4) and that leads to an increase in our sex drive.

Nah just kidding.

So we ended up in Pyramid at 10am with only half of the stores opened and TGV was still closed (we're like some gungho movie fans deprived of movies)

Then we had breakfast at McD, played some arcade games and went for a movieeee. Half of us went for Marley & Me and the remaining went for Sex Drive.

I was on my way back from Uni and I saw this at the Summit area. Wow..I've never seen this type of weather b4. It's a clear cut between the dark clouds and the clear sky on the other side. (It's like those special effects you see in disaster movies but this is real)

Lol the one below sure does looks like a scene from 'The Day After Tomorrow". Kinda cool. Scary, but cool.

Just weeks ago (was it? sorry I lost track of time) London was snowing like nobody's business and in Australia the temperature rose past the highest ever recorded previously and last week Pau said the temperature decreased significantly.

What is happening? Yea I know global warming and all but ppl are just being ignorant so am I (uhuh we still have that egocentrism in us meaning "if we don't see it, it's not there" kinda thing going on which usually only occurs in children). Oh and just a few days back my Uni switched the classroom tables and chairs to higher tables and leather (ok la it's pvc) seats!!! It's good for our asses and if you arrange the seats 3 in a row you can actually sleep on it!! But I dont think they'll give us this classroom next sem =(

Yes this is a short semester but we still managed to watch 3 to 4 movies in our tutorial like "About Schmidt", "The Virgin Suicides", "The Curious Case of Benjamin Butt-on","The Matrix", "What the Bleep", and "The making of LOTR"!! (Yes dun be jealous muahahahaha)

And dammit....how about my thesis??!!! If I were to do the influence of classical music on mood (which is my 1st choice initially), I would have to be under the supervisor with some attitude problem (although she's good@her work)!...So should I approach another supervisor (whom is nicer and more helpful) and change my topic to sexual attitudes and knowledge in Malaysian youth?? (coz it's her area of study)

But I prefer the music topic among the two...:s....so should I consider based on the 'type' of supervisor I'm gonna get or based on my area of interest??

This is what we bought for him.

Yup!! The Tower Bridge model!! He'll have to assemble it himself! This is quite fun actually!! There were so many more models/3D puzzles like the Pisa Tower, Temple of Heaven, Colloseum, Flight Carrier, KL/Twin Towers, Eiffel Tower & lots of others!!

The store's The Puzzle House located at the Asian Lalaland Avenue, the same row with I Need House. The staff is really friendly and helpful and I got so excited discovering all the types of models they have and I wanted all!!!! But no time to built it...-_-" See my holidays coming to an end.

Anyways, back to the Tower Bridge, its measurement is about 76 x 23 x 12 in cm. Yea it's quite long like five 6" rulers long and you'll be surprised by how small the packaging is (What's with me and packaging today :s). Hehe.

Erm so...Happy Birthday O'DF'KB!!! and to Khairi as well! (Nah both of them won't read this but I duno how to end the post). Haha.

Okay la not that excited but Lee Hom's album is here!! I love the whole new packaging compared to last year's (was it last year?) environmental friendly paper cardboard so cheap but charge so expensive album. This new one is much more comprehensive & worth the money!!

Woohooo...this is everything before I open the the box containing the cd. Calenders and a thin book which contains his activities for the whole past year I guess with lotsa pics, haven't read it yet.

This is the calender. But I highly doubt that I'll refer to the calender for dates because it's so DIFFICULT to see the number and all. It's not your average calender and it takes some time to figure out some of it. Hahah.

Oh this is the book with his past year stuff...like a journal la~:)

AND....this is all the stuff in the box containing the cd. It comes with a poster, the usual book with lyrics and pix but unfortunately it didn't come with the MV.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!!! bla bla...didn't have the mood to blog during hols and no resolution to make for the new year coz apparently it's bad for health according to a research in the UK or sumting especially if your resolution has gotta do with body weight shape sizes getting a car getting a girlfriend and all that jazz.

Ok I just realised that i need to blog for the sake of taking of the "Falling Sick" off the top post because I can imagine everytime ppl click into my blog that's the 1st thing u see and that's not very nice and exciting since x'mas is near isnt it? And sadly to say I have nothing to blog about so I'll just wish everyone an early X'mas first (Yea just to take off that falling sick post)

So I was day dreaming last night (yes at nite is there a term for that?) that I will definitely celebrate Christmas next time when I have my own family, not that I don't celebrate it now just that we dont have the whole family sittin down together for a meal thingy and I want just that with my wife and kids! Ok maybe we can invite some lonely friends with miserable lives and no place to go and have some wine together on Christmas night!

Oo yea nice to dream bout it but that's like in another 10-15 years so, talking bout the here and now, looks like there's nothing much coming up except for a few movie appointments, Ms. Grace's xmas potluck, completing season 3 of Six Feet Under, and I'm thinking of having a BBQ after X'mas but...hmm...I'll just keep that in mind at the moment :p

It's unfortunate that there's nothing much happening during hols since everyone is busy with SOMETHING dunno what but I'll make something happen! Hahah...and bright happy days are spent watching Six Feet Under and it's like 4-5 episode an hour each straight ffuuhhh so depressing but it's quite nice though and u get to see what they do in the morgue ooo nice and no i'm not mental it just gives knowledge people usually choose to avoid..hahhah

Eh I'll blog about that next time after xmas before CNY...haha...

So at the mean time, Merry Christmas to all my friends old and new, this is the season for sharing I can't wait to meet up!!!

Falling Sick~

Actually already sick...

This morning I lost my appetite for breakfast and I was surprised because I thought I can eat.

Then in uni I felt dizzy already while doing the set up for Open Day tomorrow then I camwhored for awhile but I didn't look pale.

Then I got really cold during kara session so I left slightly early coz I can feel myself burning inside. What a waste. DONT CARE B4 UNI STARTS MUST GO AGAIN ~~wtf~~

So while I was resting at home I started thinking (I have a habit of thinking a lot when I'm sick and what panadol will do to me etc etc)

And I came up with a few reasons why I'd fall sick:

1) Due to post-exam effect (u know all ur heatiness accumulated and decided to come out all at once when u just started to have some fun).

2)Because Suets and Cassie and Ms. Cheong apparently had fever also so like self-serving bias, I thought I'll get it and I get it wtf.

3) Because last nite I had dinner in Weng Soon when it was raining and I got under the rain for awhile (Why am I so weak)

4) Because I haven't had enough rest since exam coz on the last day of exam I travelled down to JB and Malacca.

5)ORRRR....I played the ghost game hotel626 and I scare the shit outta myself coz I really did get a shock when that female ghost filled up my screen wtf.

I personally think it's the combination of 1-4 and 5 just help make it worse..HAHAH....

but I doubt it's number 5...coz I'm gonna continue playinggggg!!! It's FUN!!! We shud play in a group like Bra said~~lol...

I'm fine for now since I can still blog about it (no life)...hopefully I'll recover by tomorrowwww please please please!! Grrrrr~~

There was this Modern Home exhibition in Mid Valley Megamall from 6th-8th Dec and my dad planned to go and I wasn't suppose to go but I ended up going -_-"

OMG...megamall was so packed!!~~yea like we dunno.~~ And I felt so guilty coz I was supposed to study rite but then the environment was too Christmasy you can't resist hanging around a lil longer (yea like from morning till nite).

Worse still, it's year end sale!!! So I ended up buying shirts for my internship next year and it's 50% off!! ~~aunty ***** loves 50% discounts wtf (inside joke)~~

Andddd...TADAAAAAA!!!! I bought this!!!!

Okay it wasn't the one that I was aiming for (coz when i saved up enough to buy my shoe it was sold!! And no they are not restocking) but this is my 2nd choice!..hehehe...~~it's shinier than it looks here actually~~

So after burning a few holes in my pockets gotta menabung again for Redbox-es and movies sessions (and NO part time jobs coz hols are too short demmit!)

Today's paper was Abnormal Psychology and when I saw the 1st question I went @_@....

The question asked to state 5 symptoms of hypochondriasis and I dunno how on earth I almost answered that as OCD and panicked for awhile and I almost ask the lecturer the dumbest question on earth...phew...Luckily I got my senses back and read the word as the word.

But that's not the point. The thing is my mind was filled with 魔术先生 the whole time disturbing me. Hahaha. Omg what a weird combination.

Yeah thanks to my sis coz she was telling me last nite that the Bruce Lee's (8tv, 8.30pm) ear-piercing theme song played in her mind the whole time when she was doing her SPM moral paper. (The song's lyrics is very moral-ish if u dont know already(go listen tonite))

Grrrr~~~~but anyways...we still managed to have some fun during the exam season!!

We celebrated Sunn's bday in TGIF 2 days b4 exam!!

There are advantages and disadvantages of studying the brain.~~what a way to start a post.~~

Well what's good is that you understand your brain better cause you know the brain structure and functions really well.

But that is also the disadvantage. I can feel which part of my brain hurts when I have not enough sleep and when I read too much that I start being hypochondriac.

Just lately I felt that my sensorimotor and visual cortex hurt a lot dunno why. Yes the left hemisphere one.

Can't wait for exams to be over. It's taking a toll on me.
